Concert transfers, without the guesswork.

Pre-book the airport, hotel, venue and the ride home before the first song, instead of hunting for a car with thousands of other fans after the encore.

✓Both legs booked before concert day
✓A precise pickup point agreed in advance
✓The vehicle matched to every passenger and bag
✓Quote before you book, itemised GST tax invoice

Pickups follow each venue's current transport plan and traffic controls. AT247 doesn't replace venue instructions or public transport.

One night, several legs

A concert journey is more than one trip.

Treat every movement as one itinerary. It's easier to choose sensible times and the right vehicle, and nothing is left to a last-minute request after the crowd leaves.

Local fans

Home to the venue, and home again

  • 1Pickup from home, the office or dinner
  • 2Drop-off at the venue's nominated zone

Airport, hotel, venue, and back

  • 1Airport pickup in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra or the Gold Coast
  • 2Hotel transfer, then the venue
  • 3The ride back to the hotel after the encore

Plan the return before the encore

The ride home is the hard part. Sort it first.

Thousands leave at once

That's when rideshare queues, surge pricing and "finding your driver" all hit together.

Road access changes

Temporary traffic controls can move where a car is allowed to stop.

Phones struggle

Mobile networks get busy, so agree how you'll contact the driver before the show.

"Meet at the front" isn't a plan

Use a precise meeting point that both you and the driver can lawfully reach.

Allow time to get out

It takes a while to leave the seating area. Book a pickup window, not a pickup at the last note.

The venue plan wins

If the venue publishes a transport plan, it's the authority. Your pickup follows it.

The full process is in our Concert Transfers Australia guide and the Sydney concert pickup planning guide.

Going as a group

Enough seats isn't the same as enough space.

A couple with small bags needs a different vehicle from eight friends with luggage. Count every passenger, suitcase, mobility device and bulky item before you quote.

Nominate one contact

One travelling contact with a working mobile, who shares the pickup instructions with everyone before the show.

Add every stop up front

Staying at different hotels? Include each stop when you book, not after the concert.

Bigger groups

A 7-seat people mover books online. In Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, 11 and 20-seat minibuses are available through dispatch.

Minibus hire
Flying in for the show

Connect the flight to the concert plan.

Allow for baggage, hotel check-in and real road conditions. Don't schedule the venue run from the fastest possible landing estimate.

  • ✓Flight tracked. The pickup moves with your actual landing time.
  • ✓Free waiting time. 30 minutes for domestic and 60 minutes for international flights. Add a driver delay if baggage will take a while.
  • ✓Met in the terminal. Bags first, then doors, then on to the hotel.

    Luggage and equipment

Suitcases, chairs, camping gear for a festival, anything bulky.

  5. Detail 5

    Airport and hotel legs

Each leg entered separately, with the flight number.

  6. Detail 6

    A working mobile

For the travelling contact, so the driver can reach the group on the night.

FAQ

Concert transfer questions.

How do I book a concert transfer?

Request both legs with the venue, date, addresses and passenger details. Availability and pickup arrangements depend on the event and the venue's current access controls.

Can you take a group to a concert?

Yes, subject to suitable vehicle availability. Include every passenger and item so the vehicle matches the load. People movers take up to seven, and minibuses are available in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Where will the driver meet us after the show?

At the meeting point in your confirmed booking, following the venue's current rules. It may be a nominated zone or a nearby lawful location rather than the main entrance.

Can I book airport, hotel and concert transfers together?

Yes. Enter each leg separately and make sure the flight, hotel and venue details are complete. Flights are tracked, with free waiting time of 30 minutes for domestic and 60 minutes for international flights.

What if the concert runs late?

Book a pickup window rather than a pickup at the last song. If the show runs long, contact the 24/7 dispatch desk.

How much is a concert transfer?

It depends on the venue, distance, vehicle and number of legs. Use the instant quote to see the price before you book. Tolls and parking are added at actual cost and itemised on your GST tax invoice.

Which cities do you cover for concerts?

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra, plus the Gold Coast.

Book the ride home before the first song.

Both legs, a confirmed chauffeur and an agreed pickup point, so the encore is the last thing you have to think about.
