Flying with a baby or toddler? Request a capsule, child seat or booster when you book. Your chauffeur fits it before pickup, tracks your flight and takes the pram and bags first.
Child restraint rules are from NSW Point to Point Transport, checked on 21 October 2026. Rules differ slightly in other states.
Choose Airport / Regular Transfer, then add the flight number when you book so the pickup follows the real landing time.
In NSW, hire cars and rideshare follow the same rules as private cars: every child under 7 must be in a suitable approved restraint. Taxis are the exception, where a child over 1 can ride on a rear seatbelt. A baby under 1 needs an approved restraint in any of them.

What the rules don't do is make anyone carry a seat. Standard taxis, hire cars and rideshare aren't required to have one on board. If you need a child seat at the airport, it has to be booked, and that's where a pre-booked chauffeur makes the difference.

Their age and rough weight, so the right restraint goes in: a rear-facing capsule, a forward-facing seat or a booster.
The pickup follows your actual landing time, so nobody's waiting at the kerb with a tired toddler.
A sedan suits one or two seats. An SUV adds room for the pram. A people mover takes the whole family and the luggage.
That gives time to confirm the right seats. Shorter notice can often work for standard seats.
You get the chauffeur's details and a live tracking link, so you can stay inside with the kids until the car is there.
Want a person to confirm it? Talk to dispatch, 24/7, or email support@airporttransfers247.com.au.

A rear-facing restraint, such as a baby capsule. The one you'll want for a hospital discharge ride or a first trip with a newborn.
A rear-facing or forward-facing child seat with an inbuilt harness. Most toddlers on a family holiday sit here.
A forward-facing seat with an inbuilt harness, or a booster seat that positions the adult seatbelt across the chest and lap.
Your chauffeur installs the requested restraints before arriving, so you're not wrestling a capsule at the kerb.
Every restraint is cleaned and inspected before each booking.
Bringing your child's seat? Note it when you book and your chauffeur will help fit it.
Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal with a name sign, and takes the pram and the bags first.
Early or late, the pickup moves with the landing. Nobody has to call anyone mid-flight.
Taking your newborn home? Book a rear-facing capsule and a pickup around the discharge time, and the car arrives ready.
30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting when the chauffeur arrives.
A nappy change, slow bags or a long customs queue? Add a driver delay so the chauffeur arrives closer to when you're ready.
The person who booked can follow the car on a live map, so your partner knows when you'll be home.
Child seats take cabin space and prams take boot space. Count both before you count heads.
